Guy Sofer is a Product Manager covering the static analysis products and has been working at Micro Focus for 12 years. Guy began his IT career in the QA department while studying Computer Science at the University of Haifa before then moving up the ranks. Guy took different roles in the R&D department including Sr. System Developer and leading a team developing Micro Focus Visual COBOL and Enterprise Developer products. He switched to Product Management a few years ago and is now part of the COBOL and Mainframe Solutions product management team. Guy has an extensive experience with software development, both modern and legacy, agile concepts and of course code analysis. He lives in Haifa, Israel. Married with 2 small kids and a dog.
